The Russian media pay very little attention to the tragedy unfolding in the United States. For more than a week, the entire Washington cavalry and the entire Washington army are trying to destroy one of the most influential independent American media - Infowars
Following Facebook, YouTube, Apple and Vimeo, Infowars accounts and the founder of the resource Alex Jones were also blocked by the Twitter administration. In a matter of days, journalists lost access to tens of millions of subscribers.
At the same time, liberal media do not hide their joy. It was Alex Jones who played the decisive role in linking the fake news label to CNN, so that the globalist resources began to savor each new attack on their political opponents. Here are the reasons for blocking, according to the publication Verge:
Facebook felt that Alex Jones, who had violated many of the rules of the platform, was not going to change.
By "platform rules" we mean, of course, the requirements to be tolerant of all kinds of minorities, in no way to mention our national and religious identity, to be quiet and obedient. Jones did not do this, frankly criticized Congress and the White House from the position of the American right and was his opponents like a bone in his throat.
Tsargrad is the only Russian-language media that organized a teleconference with Infowars. Then, almost two years ago, Alex Jones said that the current Western publications are just a tool in the hands of globalists.
It all happened. To neutralize it, tactics of demonization were first used: the journalist was called a fascist, homophobe and other most terrible words in Western society. However, the more he was called, the more people came to the Infowars website. 40 million views per month is a serious figure, especially for an independent resource that local authorities try to crush.
Today Infowars urge its readers and viewers to switch to direct contact with the resource bypassing social networks: download the application on a smartphone or go to the site through a browser. However, no one knows if Apple and Google will remove the Infowars application from their catalogs after a while.
From this episode, we need to draw a few fundamentally important lessons. The first is that no one else can even stammer about the presence of even a shadow of freedom of speech in the West, and especially in the United States. Even in the most iridescent dreams, it is impossible to imagine that in Russia the opposition mass media strangled so rigidly and consistently. And there - please, but the totalitarian state is still with us.
The second conclusion that can be made: any media that does not meet the agenda of the platform through which it is distributed can be blocked. Who owns the largest sites of this kind? Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram are all Western projects. Yes, Russia has its own social networks, which to some extent allows its citizens to feel freer than others, but this is not enough. Where is the guarantee that Western companies will not consider tomorrow that any Russian media or any user does not violate this or that rule? Especially since it is simply impossible for an adequate person to live by these rules.
So it turns out that we need to quickly create our own virtual infrastructure, isolating ourselves from Western partners wherever possible, and calling to ourselves all independent and sensible people from Europe and America, giving them the right to vote. It is important to understand that past attempts to secure digital sovereignty in the country have been blurred and failed for one reason or another. Most likely, we have the last chance.
